Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hutson of Tamaroa will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at Friendship Church of Christ located at 7405 Parrot Road in Tamaroa. All family and friends are invited to celebrate.
Ronald Ray Hutson and Deena Lynn Cook were married March 29, 1968, in Friendship Church of Christ in Tamaroa, with Pastor Gilbert Daniels performing the ceremony.
Mr. Hutson retired from the Mine Safety and Health Administration after 26 years as a Federal Mine Inspector. Prior to becoming an inspector he worked 10 years as a coal miner for Old Ben Coal. He also served 4 years in the U.S. Navy as a Third Class Radioman.
Mrs. Hutson was a homemaker.
They are the parents of two children, Shelly (David) McPhedran of LaSalle, and Bradley (Deborah) Hutson of Johnston City. They also are the grandparents of 18-year-old twins, David and Makayla McPhedran of LaSalle.
