Election 2008: Candidate Endorsement Interviews

It's election season and The Southern Illinoisan's editorial board is in the process of interviewing political candidates seeking re-election for potential endorsements in future editions of the newspaper's editorial page.

We're recording each session and you can download the audio from any of the available links below.  Keep checking back, because we'll be adding to this list as we complete the interviews.

" Those of us in the 59th State Senate District have a real opportunity for change this election. How about if we give Ken Burzynski a chance to show that he can do a better job with the high unemployment rate in Franklin County and do his best to bring it down. Forby has had 8 years and the rate has done nothing but go up, except for his own family. "
