Christian singer Adam Crabb will perform a free solo concert at Trinity United Methodist Church in West Frankfort, Illinois, at 10 a.m. on Palm Sunday, March 25.

Adam Crabb is the lead singer of the famed Gaither Vocal Band. He rose to prominence singing with his siblings – The Crabb Family, winners of 11 Dove Awards and multiple Grammy nods.

Known for his powerful vocal delivery, Adam has been described as the “face of youth” in Southern Gospel music. He considers his ministry a calling, not a career.

"I want to share this music with the next generation.....the ten year olds, and teens that are searching for something to feed their spirit. The music always breaks down walls. That is when problems are solved and hearts are mended. We live in such an imperfect world and this message of salvation and hope is the answer," he said.

Trinity United Methodist Church Pastor Joey Dunning said the church wants to share Crabb’s ministry with the community.

“He’s a great performer with a powerful ministry, and we are excited to bring him to West Frankfort ,” Dunning said.

The 10 a.m. March 25 performance will replace the church’s usual Sunday morning worship service. Dunning said all are welcome at the performance, which will be held in Trinity United Methodist Church’s Worship Center, 304 N. Sunny Slope St. in West Frankfort.

For more information, contact the church at (618) 932-2866.
