The Carbondale Public Library will host a series of FREE teen writing workshops for students in grades 9-12. Students will work with Heather Weatherwax from the Saluki Writer’s Project to hone their creative writing skills. Participants will learn how to properly workshop/critique writing and provide constructive criticism for fellow writers.  In addition, they will take part in fun but challenging writing exercises to bring their writing up to the next level.  All genres and levels of writers welcome.

Workshops will take place from 4:00-5:30 PM on Thursdays at the Library from September 14 through November 16, 2017. Ongoing registration is available online at or in person at the Library.
