MARION — Barb Koller, a retired guidance director for Marion Unit 2 School district and director of Marion Cultural and Civic Center’s StarWalk program, has been unanimously elected president of MCCC Foundation.

Having served as vice president of the foundation board, Koller succeeds Ed Davis as president of the civic center’s major fundraising organization. Davis and his wife, Gloria, are moving soon to the St. Louis area.

In addition to the StarWalk bricks program, Koller has directed the civic center’s holiday décor silent auction and started A Chair Affair.

She is an active member of Marion Garden Club, Marion Unit 2 Foundation, which raises funds for school programs, and Marion United Methodist Women’s Group.

Former MCCC Foundation secretary Lisa Conley will succeed Koller as foundation vice president. Rita Sigley will take over as secretary, and Bill Hamer will continue as treasurer.
