CARBONDALE - Paul Buxman, California artist of the Plein Air School, will bring his landscapes and a word or two Saturday and Sunday to University Museum on the campus of SIUC.
Buxman, who is also an organic farmer, will have 40 oil paintings on display and will give a lecture on his work from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday. The Plein Air artists are known for landscape paintings similar to the work of the French Impressionists.
