Carbondale Community Arts is presenting an exhibit featuring works by artists that appeared on the WSIU TV program "Expressions," an artist interview program hosted by SIU professor of painting Najjar Abdul-Musawwir.

The exhibit, "Artists of Expressions," is on display now through Nov. 3 at Artspace 304 and now through Nov. 15 at the Corridor Gallery in the Carbondale Civic Center.

The artists include Laurie Blakey, Karen Fiorino , David Hammond, Jennifer Kaiser, Chintia Kirana, Ariel Loh, Robert Lorenz, Jam Lovell, Shane Ward, and Justin Vancil.

A public reception is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 at Artspace 304; it is free and open to the public.

Artspace 304 is located at 304 W. Walnut St. in downtown Carbondale, and is open for viewing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, by appointment and during all CCA public programs and events.

The Corridor Gallery in the Carbondale Civic Center is located at 200 S. Illinois Ave. and is open for viewing from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and during all public events.
