An art display in the Carbondale Civic Center shows off local printmaking — past and present.

The display, sponsored by Carbondale Community Arts, will run from Feb. 2 to 28 in the Corridor Gallery at the Carbondale Civic Center.

The exhibition is called "Past and Present by Southern Illinois Printworks" and pulls together work from past and present Southern Illinois Printworks members. SIP's mission is to promote fine art printmaking in the region, and is a registered student organization at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

The Corridor Gallery is in the Carbondale Civic Center, at 200 S. Illinois Ave. The exhibit may be viewed there from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and during all public events when the civic center is open.

SIP is also coordinating the 2018 Four Rivers Print Biennial, a national juried exhibition. It will run from Feb. 9 to March 23 at Carbondale Community Arts' Artspace 304.
