On Friday, March 2, Kristin Langellier and Eric Peterson will present a talk called "To Become a Story" at 3 p.m. in the Illinois Room at the SIU Carbondale Student Center. The two are professors emeritus at the University of Maine Orono, and will discuss their lives in the Communication Studies discipline, especially their experience in personal narrative.
At 8 p.m. Friday, illusionist David Ranalli, an SIU Carbondale graduate, will perform an evening of illusions, demonstrating his combined interest in psychology and communication. The event is in Student Center Ballroom D.
At 8 p.m. Saturday, March 3, Andrea Baldwin, a recent doctoral graduate at SIU Carbondale, will perform "Lone Star Feminist," which explores her experience as a black, feminist Texan.
