The Stage Company is set to produce a Holiday whodunit next week.

"The Game's Afoot, or Holmes for the Holidays" tells the story of a Broadway actor who is playing Sherlock Holmes, who is at the center of a real-life mystery when a weekend guest is stabbed in his home.

The play runs Dec. 1-3 and 7-10. Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening shows are at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m., at The Varsity Center, 418 S. Illinois Ave.

Tickets go on sale at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24. They are $15 for adults and $8 for students. All tickets for the Dec. 7 show are $7. Tickets will be on sale at The Varsity Center box office and online at stageco.dxrgroup.com. For more information, call 618-549-3465.
