Join author Pat Fitzhugh at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 upstairs in the McCracken County Public Library, as he presents a discussion about The Bell Witch.

Fitzhugh is the author of "The Bell Witch: The Full Account," which according to a news release from the library is "a detailed historical and journalistic analysis of one of America’s most terrifying and documented hauntings."

"If you have lived in Kentucky or Tennessee, well anywhere, you’ve heard about The Bell Witch," the release says. "Fitzhugh’s book about the Bell Witch has become a staple of modern, history-based ghost research."

Fitzhugh has over 300 radio and TV appearances to his credit. In 2006, he appeared in the motion picture DVD, An American Haunting, starring Sissy Spacek and Donald Sutherland.

The author will be available for book signing after the program. This program is free and open to the public.

McCracken County Public Library is located at 555 Washington St., Paducah. For more information, contact Bobby Wrinkle at 270-442-2510 or bwrinkle@mclib.net.
