Spero Family Services and Roadhouse Harley-Davidson are teaming up to host a fundraising event as part of Balloons Over Mount Vernon.

From 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, the "When Hogs Fly" event offers live music, food, arcade games, trivia and more in the Hangar of the Mount Vernon airport.

Uncle Joe's BBQ food truck will be there, and there will be live music by The Hollerboys. Lowery's Irish Pub will bring pub games like pool, darts, pinball and more. There will be silent auction baskets, and Roadhouse Harley-Davidson donated a helicopter ride that will be auctioned off as well. There will be a view of the balloon glow at dusk.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Attendees must be 21 or older. To purchase tickets, visit sperofs.org/events.

Spero Family Services serves children, youth and families throughout Southern Illinois; fundraisers cover the cost of providing services. Spero says its mission is "to provide hope, help and healing in a Christ-centered environment."
