Carbondale New School is holding its annual Locally Grown Music Festival, featuring performers Joey Odum, Cat Daddy'O and Party Pants.

The festival is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 7, in Turley Park, and will feature family-friendly activities, including a bounce house, arts and crafts, a sensory tub and bubble pond, games, puzzles and more. The festival is free. There will be a 50-50 raffle with prizes from local businesses.

Staff members from Carbondale New School, which describes itself as a progressive, independent, nonprofit private school for children pre-K through eighth grade, will be at the event to answer questions about the school.
