Best man was Jacob Schlag of Belle Rive. Groomsmen were Caleb Schlag Belle Rive and Daniel Morrison, Mount Vernon.

Ring bearer was Brayden Stapleton of Steelville, Mo.

The newlyweds greeted guests at a reception at Twin Oaks in Benton.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, the newlyweds reside in Whittington.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Mount Vernon Township High School, a 2009 graduate of Rend Lake College with an associate degree, and a 2011 graduate of SIU Carbondale with a bachelor of science in rehabilitation services. She is a records specialist at RLC in Ina.
The bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of Mount Vernon Township High School, a 2008 graduate of Rend Lake College with an asso-ciate degrees, a 2011 graduate of SIU with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering and a 2012 graduate of SIU with a master of science in biomedical engineering. He is a quality engineer at Aisin Electronics Illinois in Marion.
