Robin Jones and Todd Sievert were united in marriage Oct. 11, 2014, at the home of the bride's parents. The Rev. Larry Gilbert officiated the ceremony.
P. Michael and Sharon Jones of Murphysboro are the parents of the bride.
The bridegroom is the son of Dale and Denise Sievert of St. Louis.
The bride wore a silk dress with a hint of vintage influence and a modern twist of raw-edged trim at neckline and sleeve. It featured a fitted bodice, hand-worked entirely in glass beads, a crisp dupioni skirt and softly pleated cummerbund waistline in satin. The design was a collaboration between the bride and her designer-dressmaker, P. Rath Couture.
Matron of honor was Holly Fletcher. Best man was Eric Lee.
The newlyweds greeted guests at a dinner reception at Kite Hill Winery in Carbondale, which was catered by Cummare's Ristorante of Murphysboro.
The bride is a graduate of Murphysboro High School and received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Administration from SIU. She is a senior account manager at NextGen RCM Services.
The groom is a graduate of St. Louis University High School and is completing a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri St. Louis. He works in retirement services at Edward Jones.
The newlyweds will reside in St. Louis.
