CARBONDALE - Carbondale city officials announced Tuesday that after a nearly two-year dialogue with a Virginia-based company, 160 jobs will be coming to Carbondale beginning early next year.

The company, New Electronics Warranty, offers customer care services to companies including major retailers like Wal Mart.

The jobs coming to Carbondale would serve customers of satellite TV provider DirecTV. Positions will be work-from-home positions and training will begin on January 12 at John A. Logan College.
