CHESTER - First Bank in Chester will be collecting canned goods and other non-perishable items such as blankets and coats from now until Dec. 19 on behalf of the Chester Area Food Pantry and Friends Helping Friends.

First Bank will have collection bins set up inside both Chester locations: Chester Main, 600 State St., and the Chester Facility, 2231 State St. Chester Main is open from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays. The Chester Facility is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
