CARBONDALE - Southern Illinois University's University School will hold its total school reunion this weekend at the university's Carbondale campus.
The school holds a reunion every five years to celebrate the history of the school, which had its last class in 1968, said Dede Lingle Ittner, one of the reunion's organizers and a graduate of the school.
More than 300 University School alumni and friends areregistered to attend a banquet celebration on Saturday evening, she said.
"To have 300 and some odd of us is amazing after all these years," she said.
Although registration for the dinner is closed, any one is invited to view historical display windows in the SIUC Student Center, which will be on display until June 25. People can also take one of the campus tram tours, which will be held throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday.
