JACKSON COUNTY - A reunion is planned for anyone who attended the rural schools south of Cabron-dale, including Brown, Buncombe, Rock Springs, Pomona Ridge, Pleasant Hill, Makanda and Wagner schools.

The event will start at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Christian Church Camp on Cedar Creek Road, off of Old U.S. 51 South of Carbondale. Lunch will be at noon.

Drinks, utensils and plates will be furnished. Those attending are asked to bring a favorite dish to share and, if possible, an item for the silent auction to help fund the reunion.
