CARBONDALE - Two orthodontists plan to give a full dental treatment to four children who apply for a new scholarship.
Klein and Cook Orthodontics has funded the "Smiles of Hope Scholarship Program," an initiative that will give underprivileged children in the region the chance to receive needed orthodontic treatments. The program will select four eligible children a year, one child per quarter, to receive the scholarship.
Recipients will have one year from the time they receive the award to begin treatment.
"We pride ourselves on giving back to the community and believe that all children deserve beautiful smiles," said Dr. Chris Klein.
"If we make a difference in even one child's life, the program succeeded," said Dr. Kevin Cook.
Scholarship information and downloadable applications are available on the Klein and Cook Web site, www.kleinandcookortho.com.
