WEST FRANKFORT - Two West Frankfort residents were arrested Thursday morning stemming from an extended investigation coordinated between the West Frankfort Police Department and the Southern Illinois Drug Task Force.

Jesus Taborn, 28, and Jessica Osburn, 23, both of West Frankfort, were arrested and taken into custody following the execution of a search warrant around 9:30 a.m. in the 900 block of West Midway Street.

Taborn was charged with multiple counts of unlawful delivery of cocaine.

Osburn was charged with child endangerment and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.

Chief of Police Jeff Tharp said Osburn's 3-year-old son was in the home - where Osburn, Taborn, and the child were residing - during the time of the drug activity.

"The stance of the West Frankfort Police Department and Southern Illinois Drug Task Force is if you are going to sell narcotics in West Frankfort, you better sleep with one eye open as we will be coming through your door," Tharp said.
