Police have arrested a Carbondale man who is believed to have been involved in three armed robberies of restaurant delivery drivers.
Bobby L. Barnes, 20, was arrested Monday after being located in Carbondale, according to a news release from the Carbondale Police Department. The three robberies occurred in the month of April.
“The investigative leads developed by our patrol officers, combined with the tenacity of our detectives culminated in the arrest of Barnes. I commend them for their hard work in bringing this subject to justice,” Chief of Police Jeff Grubbs said in the release.
Barnes was charged with three counts of armed robbery and was incarcerated in Jackson County Jail. The investigation into the robberies is continuing.
