People inside Thai Taste restaurant, 100 S. Illinois Ave., clean up shattered glass and other debris on Tuesday, apparently after a vehicle crashed into a section of the wall. One person was reportedly injured, and taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Barker's vehicle was then struck by a vehicle traveling north on South Illinois Avenue, causing Barker's vehicle to crash into the north wall of the restaurant, according to a news release from the Carbondale Police Department.

The collisions caused moderate damage to both vehicles and to the wall, according to the police department news release. Both streets are one-way streets.

A person inside the restaurant was taken by Jackson County Ambulance to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale to treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Barker was cited for disobeying a traffic control device.

People were seen inside the restaurant shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday, sweeping up some of the broken glass and other debris from the crash, which appeared to have taken out one section of wall, with several dining tables on the other side.
