Harrisburg police are asking for the public’s help in locating items stolen from Harrisburg High School. The band trailer and its contents were stolen, according to a post by Harrisburg Police Chief David Morris. The trailer was recovered, but it was empty.

The trailer was filled with the set and items from the school’s performance of “Seussical the Musical.” Students were set to perform the musical at Illinois High School Theater Festival at Illinois State University, which will begin Jan. 11.

The set includes several pieces that look like large Dr. Seuss books for children, including titles like “Yertle the Turtle,” “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and others.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Harrisburg Police Department at 618-252-8661.
