On Friday and Saturday, the Community of Faith’s BBQ Heroes Cooking Team will be at the front entrance of Sam’s Wholesale Club in Marion for its sixth year selling Superbowl Ribs, according to a news release from the Community of Faith Church.

For the past five years, the team has sold between 600 and 800 slabs on Super Bowl weekend, and, according to the release, the proceeds benefit the global missions work of the Hands of Hope Foundation.

The team will be at the main entrance of Sam’s between 10:00 a.m. and close on Friday and Saturday — or until they run out of ribs. The ribs are $20 a slab or two or more for $19 each. The team takes cash, checks or major credit cards.

For more information, go to www.hohfoundation.org. To contact the team or place an order for pickup, call Pastor Troy Benitone at 217-725-7565 or email BBQHeroes@cofchurch.org.
