A Cambria man was arrested after officers from Herrin Police Department observed a disturbance at 1:25 a.m. Oct. 15 at the Mach 1 gas station. Curtis Holland, 37, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery.

Officers discovered a male with a stab wound at the gas station. He was transported to a local hospital and transferred to a different hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Holland was transported to Williamson County Jail. He also had an outstanding arrest warrant.

Energy and Johnston City police departments assisted Herrin Police.
