Carbondale Police Department is investigating a Thursday morning shooting that left one person injured.
The person's wound is not life-threatening, police said in a Thursday morning news release. The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale for treatment.
The shooting happened at about 1:55 a.m. in the 200 block of North Wall Street. There are two suspects wanted in connection with the shooting. Police say one of the suspects is an acquaintance of the victim. Police did not identify the victim.
One suspect is described as a dark-complected black male in his early to mid-20s. He was wearing a light blue hoodie and jeans and is believed to be armed with a handgun. The other suspect is described as a 31-year-old black male who was wearing a black jacket, a black hoodie and black pants.
