WEST FRANKFORT - A lengthy investigation by the West Frankfort Police Department’s Investigative Unit resulted in a number of arrests early Monday in connection to narcotics trafficking.

Following grand jury indictments charging multiple narcotics trafficking offenses, West Frankfort Police, along with multiple agencies, conducted a warrant sweep arresting suspects allegedly connected to the ongoing investigation.

According to West Frankfort Chief of Police Shawn Talluto, the following individuals have been charged with multiple counts of unlawful delivery/ possession of a controlled substance: Brandi Waters-Adams, Tabitha Allen, Sarah Bock-O’Connor, Samantha Jones, William J. Morris, David Morrison, Denise Ragsdale, Michael South, April Wallace and Ryan Wallace.

In a news release, Talluto said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.

West Frankfort Police were assisted by the Franklin County State’s Attorney’s and Sheriff’s Offices, Illinois State Police; and the Christopher, Orient, Royalton and Zeigler Police Departments.
