Carbondale Police are investigating after two suspects robbed a business at gunpoint late Monday night.

According to an emailed statement from Carbondale Police Sgt. Kevin Banks, officers responded to a business in the 500 block of East Main Street at about 10:50 p.m. Monday in reference to an armed robbery that had just occurred. 

Banks said both suspects entered the business, displayed firearms and demanded money. Both suspects were wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts. Police did not provide any further description of the suspects.

The two left the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured.
