CARBONDALE - A Republican candidate for the Jackson County Board is calling for officials to stream meetings live over the Internet.

Darrell Dunham, who is running as a Republican for the board's District 5 seat, said there is no reason for the meetings not to be streamed as a matter of making them open to people who can't be there in person.

The candidate also said he wants to see board committee meetings happen at regular, consistent times.

Dunham is a practicing attorney in Carbondale.
