Christopher Hall, 36, of Thompsonville died early Sunday of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident late Saturday night on Songbird Road, north of Khoury League Road, in northeast Williamson County.

Information from Williamson County Coroner Mike “Junior” Burke indicates Hall was southbound on Songbird Road about 11:44 p.m. Saturday when the motorcycle he was riding left the roadway, causing him to lose control. He was riding alone.

Hall was transported by ambulance to Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, where he was pronounced dead at 12:44 a.m. Sunday. The accident was handled by Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and the coroner’s office.

A coal miner, Hall had worked for the last three years at Mach Mine in Johnston City. Survivors include his wife, four daughters, a stepson, his parents, grandparents, three brothers and two sisters.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City, with burial in Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
