MARION — Connie Henshaw, 71, passed away at 12:44 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2018, in Heartland Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Connie was born Nov. 15, 1946, in Estherville, Iowa, the daughter of Vivian and Arnold Fetters.
She graduated in 1964 from Marion High School.
Connie married Everett Henshaw Jr. on July 29, 1983, and together they shared more than 33 years before his death, July 6, 2017.
Connie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. Decorating for the holidays was her forte and her delicious dishes were always a must-have at family get-togethers.
Connie worked for Williamson County Education Services for 17 years until her retirement this year.
Connie is survived by her children, Kip Mandrell and wife, Eve, Nikki Meracle, Sue Frey Strothmann and husband, Gary, Joyce Cato; grandchildren, Alexa Maxwell, Zachary Maxwell, Chelsey Meracle, Blake Meracle, Bryce Meracle, Jessica Mandrell, Errol Mandrell, Alexandria Frey, Daniel Frey, Nicki Holmes and husband, Toby, and Stacy Cato; great-grandchildren, Walter Nieds IV, River Holmes, Brooks Holmes, Tobias Phinney; sisters, Sandy Tobin and husband, Ron, Arna White; brother, Kevin Fetters and wife, Leigh Ann; sister-in-law, Mary Sue Childers; brother-in-law, Dean Rose; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.
Connie was preceded by her husband; parents; brothers-in-law, Raymond White, Donald Presley, Jesse Childers; sisters-in-law, Betty Rose and Priscilla Presley; and grandson, Jacob Vaughn Cato.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24, in Rose Hill Cemetery.
