DE SOTO — David "Demon" Treece, 49, died suddenly Sept. 8, 2017, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

David was born July 16, 1968 in Virginia. He was Special Forces in the Army as well as a Green Beret and served in Desert Storm. David lived and worked in De Soto. Doing what he loved as owner and head mechanic at Affordable Transmission and Auto Repair with wife Robyn Treece.

David is survived by his wife, Robyn "Sweet Cheeks" Treece; children, Brent and wife, Danielle, Odum, Jared Toller, Dylon Treece, Talor Treece, Caitlyn Jaycox, Corey Jaycox, Christopher Jaycox and Emilee Breidenbach; grandchildren, Cydnee Malony, Carson Jaycox, Kion and Kannon Odum, Alice Treece; mother, Linda Wright, and stepfather, Arthur Wright; brother, Shawn Treece and children; and sister, Amy Treece and children.

David is preceded in death by son, Jacob Treece; and father, Gary Treece.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, in Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
