CARTERVILLE — Frank Richardson, 86, of Macon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018, in Macon Health Care in Macon.
He was born Oct. 8, 1931, in Carterville, to Clyde Richardson and Lucille Anderson Richardson.
Frank was united in marriage to Marjorie Elaine Manis in Cambria, on Sept. 10, 1950.
He graduated from Carbondale Community High School in Carbondale, Illinois, Class of 1949.
After completing training at Coyne Electrical and Radio-Television School in Chicago, Frank began a 32-year career with the railroad — Illinois Central, Frisco, Wabash, Norfolk & Western, and Norfolk & Southern — primarily in Missouri. He retired in 1985. The Richardsons made their home in Moberly, Missouri for 50 years prior to Frank and Margie moving to Macon, Missouri in 2013.
Services celebrating Frank’s life will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 21, in Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly, Missouri. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Interment and graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, at Hill Crest Cemetery in Carterville.
