HERRIN — Michelle N. Rollins, 40, passed away peacefully, 1:05 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at her residence.
Michelle worked as a guard at IYC in Harrisburg.
She was a member and very active with AFSCME.
Michelle was born Feb. 3, 1977, in Carbondale to Michael K. and Kathy L. (Pinkston) Williams.
Michelle was united in marriage with Eric L. Rollins on March 15, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Surviving are her husband, Eric Rollins of Herrin; her parents, Mike and Kathy Williams of Herrin; two sisters, Kim Haney of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Robin (Lonnie) Beltz of Herrin; grandmother, Nadine Williams of West Frankfort; mother-in-law, Nancy Brewster of San Dimas, California; father-in-law, Chester Lamonte Rollins of Carrier Mills; aunts and uncles, Kenny and Marcia Williams of West Frankfort, Carol Kellerman of Mulkeytown, and Tina Pinkston of Herrin; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Kenneth Williams, and Marion and Bertie Pinkston.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, in Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Pearce officiating. Burial will follow in Herrin City Cemetery in Herrin. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
