CHESTER — Wendy Sue Park, 60, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at the Evelyn House in St. Charles, Missouri.
Celebration of life services and dinner will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at the VFW Hall in Chester.
Wendy Sue Hargis Park was born Feb. 14, 1958, in Cario, the daughter of Jack and Mary (Severs) Hargis.
On Jan. 24, 2007, she married Travis Kevin Park in St. Louis, Missouri.
She worked most of her life as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She was able to travel and live all over the world as part of a U.S. Navy family. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family and nine grandchildren. She also loved to play Bingo and enjoyed watching NASCAR. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and friend, and will be missed by many.
In addition to her husband Travis Kevin Park, of St. Charles, Missouri; she is survived by her mother, Mary Hargis of Chester; her son, Jimmy Kemp and grandson, Riley Kemp of Chester; her son, Corey Michael Kemp, his wife, Lauren, and daughter, Emily, of Lake Moore; her stepdaughter, Rachel Brewer, her husband, Tyson, and their daughters, Abbigail and Addison of Belleville; her stepdaughter, Ashley Whitter and her children, Hailey, Aleah, Aryanna, and Layne of Pevely, Missouri; as well as many aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Hargis; and grandson, CJ.
