INA — Rend Lake College will host a Fun Fest from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday. The event will include food, entertainment, games, prizes and giveaways.

RLC’s Culinary Arts program will provide food outside of the Student Center, and students can choose from grilled chicken, grilled hot dogs or nachos. Tropical Sno also will be on hand to give out Sno cones.

There will be musical entertainment provided by Memory Lane of Carterville in front of the Academic Building, and performances by RLC Warrior dance team and cheerleaders.

Other activities include massages from Therapeutic Massage program students; hand massages by Studio RLC Cosmetology School; outdoor activities, such as washers, disc golf and bean bag toss; and palm reading by Dr. Sue Tomlin, former RLC sociology professor.

There will be a dunk tank, featuring some of RLC’s faculty and staff, and a photo booth from Sartor Photography of Benton. New this year will be a gaming party in the South Oasis. A dozen X-Boxes will be set up for students to compete against one another at “Halo,” “Call of Duty,” and other games.

RLC classes will be cancelled during the three-hour Fun Fest. For more information, call 618-437-5321, ext. 1205, or email to
