The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced road closures in West Frankfort beginning Wednesday, July 18.

St. Louis St. and West Frankfort St. at the intersection with Illinois 37 only will be closed to all traffic for three days to allow for continued roadway resurfacing. St. Louis and West Frankfort streets will be open to traffic in all areas except at the intersection with Illinois 37. The re-opening of the intersection is expected to be late Friday.

Motorists should use an alternate route around the intersection during the closure.
