SPRINGFIELD -- Award-winning singer and songwriter Robin Thicke is coming to the 2014 Illinois State Fair. The R&B superstar, best known for his songs "Love After War" and "Blurred Lines," will perform at the Grandstand on Sunday, Aug. 17.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 13. They can be purchased through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000.

Tickets also can also be purchased from the Illinois State Fair Box Office, which opens Monday, June 9. The box office is in the Grandstand on the north end of the Illinois State Fairgrounds and will be open weekdays, except holidays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will accept both in-person and phone orders. The box office phone number is 217-782-1979.

The 2014 Illinois State Fair will be Aug. 7 to Aug. 17.
