A trial date for a Jonesboro woman charged with the death of a four-year-old in Ware has now been set.

Sacha Brown, 29, of Jonesboro pled not guilty Jan. 11 to murder and other charges related to the death of 4-year-old Justin James Hepburn.

Judge William Thurston on Wednesday set Brown’s trial date for March 11.

The charging document alleges Brown killed Hepburn by striking him in the head or causing his head to strike an object “with such force as to cause a skull fracture.”

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services confirmed in December there are two separate investigations around the Ware household where Justin Hepburn was found dead. Brown and Justin Hepburn’s father, Christopher Hepburn, are subjects of the investigation, according to DCFS.

Brown is out on bond.
