CARBONDALE — Youth baseball and softball players that are interested in a higher level of competition, Carbondale Junior Sports will be conducting tryouts for its Travel League.

Both baseball and softball tryouts will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. (U8); 2:30 to 4 p.m. (U10); and from 4 to 5:30 p.m. (U12) Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4 at the Superblock. Interested players should attend both days.

Participants should bring a glove, bat, copy of their birth certificate, a $50 deposit, the registration form, and the medical release form.

Forms are available at www.carbondalejrsports.com. The rain dates for tryouts will be March 24 and 25.
