To the Editor:
Like you, I love our state, but we are headed in the wrong direction. We need to turn things around.
We need change — not incremental change, but radical change. It’s time for our state’s government to work for the people of Illinois once again. It's time for the state to stop funding our schools through property taxes, stop electing tax attorneys that benefit from winning the Governorship.
This has been the focal point of Chris Kennedy's campaign.
Ever since he has started running, he has been backtracking against Mike Madigan's handpicked candidate, J.B. Pritzker. Pritzker has already invested $50 million from his own money. Bruce Rauner has publicy stated that the Democratic Primary is rigged for Pritzker to win. Some argue that Pritzker should be arrested, for attempting to buy public office from former Gov. Rod Blagojevich. An ad has been ran several times, releasing the FBI wiretap between Pritzker and Blagojevich.
With less than 50 days left until the primary, Chris is touring all of Illinois, attempting to better not just Chicago. The Kennedys have always been champions for education and the poor. Chris has also fought to end hunger, he's created jobs, with a proven record.
Illinois votes cannot be bought, we need to reject the money and go where the stability is. J.B. Pritzker is not fit to lead, Chris is the man for the job, without a shadow of a doubt the clear choice for Illinois.
