SALEM, Va. (AP) -- Carter Kieboom hit a grand slam in the fourth inning, leading the Potomac Nationals to a 9-4 win over the Salem Red Sox on Monday.

The grand slam by Kieboom gave the Nationals a 7-0 lead and capped a seven-run inning for Potomac. Earlier in the inning, Jakson Reetz and Jack Sundberg hit RBI singles.

The Nationals later tacked on a run in both the seventh and eighth innings. In the seventh, Jake Noll hit an RBI single, while Blake Perkins hit an RBI single in the eighth.

Steven Fuentes (1-1) got the win with 2 2/3 innings of scoreless, two-hit relief while Salem starter Roniel Raudes (1-1) took the loss in the Carolina League game.
