NORTH AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) -- Evan Skoug hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning, leading the Kannapolis Intimidators to a 4-2 win over the Augusta GreenJackets on Monday.

Tyler Johnson got Logan Baldwin to ground out with a runner on third to end the game for his third save of the season.

The home run by Skoug capped a three-run inning and gave the Intimidators a 3-0 lead after Justin Yurchak hit an RBI double earlier in the inning.

The GreenJackets cut into the deficit in the seventh inning when Rob Calabrese hit a two-run home run.

The Intimidators tacked on another run in the ninth when Laz Rivera hit a solo home run.

Yurchak doubled and singled twice, scoring a run and also driving one home for Kannapolis.

Starter Kade McClure (1-0) got the win while Eduardo Rivera (0-1) took the loss in relief in the South Atlantic League game.

For the GreenJackets, Calabrese homered and singled, driving in two runs.
