No. 1 — Stopping YSU's run game: The Penguins rushed for 289 yards in last weekend's win at Indiana State. Youngstown State will probably use three running backs, and if Ricky Davis starts at quarterback, he adds another element the Salukis have to look at. 

No. 2 — Saluki penalties: Some calls have been highly questionable, but SIU has hurt itself badly with costly penalties in the last three weeks. The Salukis can't focus on that today, but must focus on getting off the field on third down and celebrating more on the sideline instead of on the field of play.

No. 3 — The do-si-do of quarterbacks: Will SIU start Matt DeSomer under center? Tanner Hearn? Will YSU start Hunter Wells, who has missed the last few weeks but started throwing this week? Pay attention. You might see some shuffling today from both teams.
