As the prep basketball regular season winds down, conference champions have been crowned, and personal milestones have been achieved.

Hailey Chubb, Gallatin County: The senior guard for the Hawks is having another great season. On Feb. 7, Chubb surpassed the 3,000-point milestone for her tremendous career.

Chubb helped her squad defeat Hardin County that night, and she moved into 10th place on the IHSA career scoring list. This season, Chubb passed former Carlyle standout Courtney Smith, who finished her career in 1997 with 2,975 points.

In the final prep game of her career, Chubb scored 32 points in Gallatin County's loss to New Athens Monday in the semifinals of the Goreville Sectional.

Luca Gualdoni, Johnston City: The Johnston City senior signed to play football at the next level with McKendree University. Although Johnston City finished just 2-7 this season, Gualdoni had a good season and earned All South honors.

Pinckneyville Panthers: The Pinckneyville boys basketball team wrapped up the SIRR Mississippi Division championship with a 52-51 victory over Nashville on Saturday. The Panthers improved to 25-3 overall and 9-0 in conference games.

Benton Rangers: The Benton boys basketball team claimed the SIRR Ohio Division title with a 53-39 win over Massac County on Saturday. The Rangers took their record to 24-3 overall and 9-0 in conference action.

Sesser-Valier Red Devils: The Sesser-Valier boys basketball team are the Black Diamond Conference West champions. The Red Devils defeated Goreville, 73-52, Friday to improve to 10-0 in conference games. Sesser-Valier is 17-10 overall this season.

Eldorado Eagles: The Eldorado boys basketball team claimed the Black Diamond Conference East crown and remains unbeaten in league play at 8-0. The Eagles beat Johnston City, 70-35, Friday night and sit at 25-1 overall.

Harrisburg Bulldogs: The Harrisburg girls basketball team achieved the rare feat of a perfect regular season recently. The Bulldogs were ranked No. 1 all season in The Associated Press Class 2A girls basketball poll. 

Jake Stewart's squad improved to 30-0 with its regional championship victory over Anna-Jonesboro Thursday. The Bulldogs take on Nashville at 7:30 p.m. today in the semifinals of the Hamilton County Sectional.
