To the People of Williamson County: As your Williamson County Circuit Clerk, I am here to serve you. I have always been about honesty, integrity, transparency, and service. I have never misrepresented my qualifications or my desire to serve you. When I say my door is always open, that’s because it is. If you have questions for me or how my office is run, I am here for you. The vast majority of what this office does is legal based, and our main priority is to be the County’s Keeper of the Files. There are numerous laws and statutes that guide us on how to properly do so, and how we should work hand in hand with the judiciary, attorneys, law enforcement, and the public. This is a legal job, and one that I have a deep passion for. I hope that my experience and service to my community shows you that I am the right person for this job. I am asking for your vote to remain as your Williamson County Circuit Clerk. Attorney for almost 13 years, graduating SIU School of Law in 2007 Worked in Civil Law as a Private Attorney Served the Public as Williamson County Public Defender from 2010 until 2017 Served the Public as a Williamson County Assistant State’s Attorney from 2017 until 2019 Worked alongside local law enforcement prosecuting everything from Domestic Batteries to Terrorist Threats to Manslaughter Worked to establish and maintain a Veteran’s and Drug Court in Williamson County Worked strictly in the Williamson County Courthouse since 2010, working alongside the previous Williamson County Circuit Clerks, Stuart Hall and Angie Kochan Became your Williamson County Circuit Clerk in October of 2019 Worked to maintain the daily functions of the Courthouse during a pandemic, keeping communication open with the judiciary, attorneys, law enforcement, and the public Working to establish an online driver’s education course through JALC, that will allow people to take the course from the comfort of their own home while avoiding unnecessary hits to their licenses Worked alongside the Williamson County Commissioners to aid in managing a budget shortage due to COVID-19 at no additional cost to the taxpayers, while still maintaining the integrity and functionality of the Williamson County Circuit Clerk’s Office
