Public Notice of Draft NPDES Permit Public Notice Number: IL0027898-19.TTL Public Notice is hereby given by Illinois E.P.A., Division of Water Pollution Control, Permit Section, 1021 N. Grand Ave. East, P.O. Box 19276, Springfield, IL 62794-9276 (herein Agency) that a draft National Pollutant Discharge System NPDES Permit Number IL0027898 has been prepared under 40CFR 124.6(d) City of Carbondale, 200 South Illinois Avenue, P.O. Box 2047 Carbondale, Illinois 62902 for discharge into Unnamed Tributary to Crab Orchard Creek from City of Carbondale- Southeast-STP 2201 East Walnut Carbondale, Illinois 62902 (Jackson County) This facility provides treatment of wastewater generated within its service area. The application, draft permit, and other documents are available for inspection and may be copied at the Agency between 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Interested persons are invited to submit written comments on the draft permit to the Agency at the above address. The NPDES Permit and Public Notice numbers must appear on each comment page. All comments received by the Agency not later than 30 days from the date of this publication shall be considered in making the final decision regarding permit issuance. Any interested person may submit written request for a public hearing on the draft permit, stating their name and address, the nature of the issues proposed to be raised and the evidence proposed to be presented with regard to these issues in the hearing. Such requests must be received by the Agency not later than 30 days form the date of this publication. If written comments and/or requests indicate a significant degree of interest in the draft permit, the permittee authority may, at its discretion, hold a public hearing. Public notice will be given 30 days before any public hearing.
