INFORMATION FOR JACKSON COUNTY VOTERS General Election 2020 As many know, I was mandated to send out Vote By Mail Applications to everyone who voted in the 2018, 2019, and 2020 elections or anyone who had activity on their voter registration from March to July 2020, for example, address or name change. The application should already arrive and if you did not get one, please call my office and we would be happy to send you one. Please, if you do not want to vote by mail, then do not complete the application and no need to send it back. Ballots will not be sent out until September 24th. 2020 The first day for early voting is September 24th in my office from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The voter will have many options for this election: Traditional Polling Places: All traditional polling places are scheduled to be open unless there an unforeseen circumstance. Vote center: Registered voters can vote in the courthouse lobby on election day and bi-pass their traditional police place. Curbside voting: This is for individuals that are unable to physically go to their polling place or wish to stay in their vehicle to vote. Grace period voting: A individual can register and vote all on the same day. Ballot Retrieval Box! The voter can bring their mail ballot and deposit it into the retrieval box. It will be located on the west side of the courthouse. It will have 24-hour camera surveillance.
