The Hamilton Memorial Hospital District announced recently that it has added Dr. Rodney Miller to its services.
Miller has more than 20 years of experience, including minimally invasive surgical procedures such as laparoscopic hernia repair, general endoscopy/colonoscopy, emergency medicine, and advance wound care. Most recently, he has been part of the surgical staff at Herrin Hospital, where he has served as a surgeon since 2013.
“In a rural area like McLeansboro, it’s important that Hamilton Memorial is able to offer specialty care such as surgical services," CEO Victoria Woodrow said in a news release. "Being able to provide these types of services allows not only Hamilton County residents but also the surrounding communities the opportunity to receive quality care close to home."
Miller will provide a full range of surgical services on Monday and Wednesday, and is currently accepting surgery clinic appointments at Hamilton Memorial Family Clinic in McLeansboro. For more information, call 618-643-2988 or visit hmhospital.org.
